Inclusief onderwijs - 'Onderwijs voor iedereen' - standpunt van NOOZO, Niet Over Ons Zonder Ons
Beter leven met een verstandelijke handicap
Het M-decreet voor kinderen met specifieke onderwijsbehoeften wordt ingeruild voor het nieuwe Leersteundecreet dat vanaf het nieuwe schooljaar 2023-2024 van kracht is. Lees hier het advies van NOOZO, Vlaamse adviesraad handicap aan minister van onderwijs Ben Weydts (NVA).
Lees via deze link het advies dat op 23 september 2022 naar de minister van Onderwijs werd gestuurd.
En hieronder lees je het advies in voor iedereen toegankelijke taal:
'Onderwijs voor alle leerlingen'
Inclusief onderwijs betekent dat
leerlingen met een handicap
naar een gewone school gaan.
Leerlingen met en zonder handicap
volgen er samen les.
Maar er zijn nog een aantal moeilijkheden
met inclusief onderwijs.
Daarom komt er een nieuwe wet:
het decreet leersteun.
NOOZO wil dat er inclusief onderwijs komt.
De school moet ervoor zorgen dat
ouders en leerlingen ook een stem hebben.
Ouders en leerlingen kunnen vertellen
welke aanpassingen nodig zijn.
Of wat er kan helpen om beter les te volgen.
NOOZO wil dat je kan kiezen waar je les volgt.
Daarom moeten scholen onderling goede afspraken maken.
Zo kan je makkelijk veranderen
Naar de school die bij je past.
Leerlingen met een handicap krijgen
ondersteuning om les te kunnen volgen.
De job van ondersteuner zal verbeteren.
We vinden dit goed.
Zo komen er betere ondersteuners.
Er komen leersteuncentra.
Dit is een plek waar je vragen kan stellen
over ondersteuning.
NOOZO wil dat dit centrum je ook kan bijstaan.
Dit kan bijvoorbeeld door te praten met je school.
Deze centra moeten genoeg budget krijgen.
